A woman returns to old Vilnius in search of her grandmother’s house, only to find a city rapidly erasing the past in favor of the future. She wanders the changing streets and encounters colorful local characters – but as night falls, reaching her goal becomes increasingly difficult. The film is a poetic meditation on constant movement and a longing to belong.

ON RESISTANCE STREET is a feature length documentary examining the role music plays in the fight against Fascism, racism and bigotry. The film was shot over a two year period in England, Belfast and New York and features contributions from many renowned musicians, bands, writers and commentators. These include original members of STEEL PULSE, THE SEX PISTOLS, ASWAD, STIFF LITTLE FINGERS, THE LEVELLERS, THE MEN THEY COULDN’T HANG, THE DEFECTS, THE OUTCASTS, LADY SHOCKER, NAOMI BEDFORD, ATILLA THE STOCKBROKER and others.

Elementary school teacher Pobmek doesn't like kids, but his boyfriend Teacher Solar does, and he likes Solar more than enough to make up for it. When he suffers an accident, however, Solar is left with brain damage, reverting mentally at times to the age of seven. After he takes Nong Solar back home, there are days when Pobmek doesn't get any respite from children.

The conflicts of a married couple traveling with their children on vacation. The growing discomfort of the couple and the boys in the closed space and in the movement of a car, has an unexpected additional element at the end that will enhance the climate of fury.

The film is based on real events. In pre-revolutionary Moscow, an underground printing house was established and operated, producing leaflets, proclamations, as well as the illegal newspaper Rabochy. The printing house was organized by Georgian revolutionaries under the cover of a fruit store located on Lesnaya Street.…
